Happy Friday people! Glad the weekends here even, even if I’m stuck working.
Been a busy bunny this week… Finished off my chocolate fudge cake, made & finished my carrot cake & also started on a lemon drizzle cake! Plus I got my first 2 orders in!
So here’s my week in knitting:
Patterns: 20 to make: Knitted Cakes
Needles: 3.25 straight
Nearly finished! Eeeep :D this will be my first pattern successfully completed.
Now to decorate it!
My lovely Granma bought me home my 1st knitting magazine the other day. I wasn’t particularly excited… thinking it would be full of jumper & scarf patterns, but I was actually quite impressed when I saw the cutest Halloween Hamsters on the front cover!
So I’ve started on the skeleton! Hoping to have them all done in time for Halloween… my sister will love them!

I’m totally in love! So I’vre ordered a set of crochet needles & will be teaching myself to crochet over the next few weeks!… Watch this space!

Favourite book?
I can’t say I have a single favorite book, but I love the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. Each one seems to get more & more exciting and leaves you with more suspense.
Your favorite actor..
Well to be completely honest, I don’t have a favorite actor :/
I like Catherine Heigl, Angelina Jolie & Jason Statham.. but I wouldn’t go out of my way to see a movie starring them.
I love Catherine Hiegl for, her diversity. She was fantastic in Greys Anatomy; had me hysterically laughing, yet also reduced me to tears.
Angelina Jolie, I love, for being a strong independent woman. She tackles everything thrown at her & is still hungry for more!
…& well Jason Stateham… I just enjoy films with fast cars and bad guys!
Day 2 – What movie do you want to watch?
Breaking Dawn…
I’m a bit of a vampire fan & although the twilight series isn’t particularly mature, Breaking Dawn was the best out of all the books. There was finally some action!

Day 1 – Your favourite quote?
“Lord, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept & the wisdom to know the difference.”
So, I’m not a religious person at all, but this quote means a lot to me. I’ve had a lot of struggles in my life & learning to take a backseat & just let it take its course has really helped me.
Learning not to worry about things you can’t change is like one of those lightbulb moments… It takes a lot of heartache and sadness before you realise you can’t keep living that way.
